Plaud has launched the updated NotePin S, a compact AI recorder that features a new button for easier recording. While maintaining the original’s sleek design and size, the NotePin S is offered with a lanyard, wristband, clip, and magnetic pin, all included in the package. The device is compatible with Apple Find My and supports audio recording, summarizing, and transcription for tasks like meeting notes and reminders. The transition from haptic controls to a physical button ensures clearer functionality, addressing previous user feedback on recording reliability. In addition, Plaud has introduced the Plaud Desktop app, allowing seamless audio recording during online meetings on platforms like Zoom and Teams. This app, available for Mac and PC, syncs with Plaud’s hardware for a comprehensive audio library. The NotePin S is priced at $179, while existing Note and NotePin owners can access the Plaud Desktop app for free.
