Port Secures $100 Million in Series C Funding, Reaching an $800 Million Valuation to Accelerate AI Agent Development

Port, an Israeli startup revolutionizing software development through AI, has raised $100 million in Series C funding led by General Atlantic. Valued at $800 million, this brings Port’s total funding to $158 million. Founded in 2022 by industry veterans Zohar Einy and Yonatan Boguslavski, Port is leveraging their expertise from the IDF’s Unit 8200 to enhance its Agentic Engineering Platform (AEP). The AEP automates operational tasks in the software lifecycle, a significant advantage as coding comprises only 10% of developers’ time. The platform already supports major clients like GitHub, Visa, and British Telecom, boasting a remarkable 300% revenue increase this past year. Einy emphasizes a collaborative future where AI agents handle operational workloads while human engineers maintain control, ensuring oversight and trust. Port’s adaptable platform aims to boost productivity across diverse development environments and signals a shift in the Israeli tech landscape towards innovative software solutions.
