This move aims to transform Redis into a vital infrastructure for AI, allowing developers to build intelligent agents with reliable memory. CEO Rowan Trollope emphasized the need for context in AI systems, highlighting that Decodable’s integration would streamline data pipelines for faster, accessible context within Redis.
Additionally, Redis introduced LangCache, a managed semantic caching service that can reduce LLM API costs by up to 70% and improve response times. The integration with existing AI frameworks like AutoGen and Cognee simplifies development, enabling robust memory management.
Other upgrades include hybrid search enhancements and int8 quantization support, enhancing search speeds and memory efficiency. Redis Cloud and Open Source updates, including Redis 8.2 GA, bolster performance and usability. Redis remains the fastest data platform, empowering over 10,000 customers globally to improve app speed and performance.
