SailPoint has launched new capabilities within the SailPoint Platform, aimed at unifying identity, data, and security in response to the evolving complexity of identity security challenges. With organizations increasingly integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous technologies, traditional security measures are no longer sufficient. The platform introduces Atlas, which offers intelligent identity security through dynamic orchestration, real-time risk response, and context-aware governance with features like Adaptive Approvals.
Additionally, SailPoint has unveiled Agent Identity Security (AIS) to manage AI agents, providing tools for governance and compliance at the entitlement level. The Observability & Insights feature enhances visibility into identity relationships, aiding compliance with least-privilege policies. Data Access Security (DAS) ensures comprehensive oversight of data access across various identities. Future developments will include automating privilege management and real-time threat defense, further solidifying the integration of identity, data, and security to adapt to an ever-changing threat landscape.
