Despite generating $15 million in funding and achieving $7 million in annual recurring revenue, growth has not met expectations, leading to concerns about product-market fit. The company, known for its viral marketing strategies, initially gained fame for an AI tool aimed at enhancing coding interview practices but has since shifted focus amid criticism. Cluely seeks to leverage social media innovation as it aims to establish itself as a significant player in the AI notetaking space.
