SFPD Probes Possible Shooting Incident Near Home of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman

A man and woman were arrested in connection with a shooting incident near OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s residence on Sunday, two days after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at his home. San Francisco police responded to the shooting just before 3 a.m. Investigations revealed that a Honda sedan, driven by Amanda Tom, 25, had a passenger who fired a round at Altman’s property. Both Tom and Muhamad Tarik Hussein, 23, were apprehended nearby, and police seized three firearms after executing a search warrant. They are facing charges of negligent discharge of a gun. This incident follows the arrest of Daniel Alejandro Moreno-Gama, 20, who threatened to burn down OpenAI’s headquarters after throwing the Molotov cocktail.
