Singapore’s Youth at the Forefront of Embracing AI Technology

A recent study by iSharing highlights that Singapore leads globally in AI tool readiness among youths, surpassing Germany and Finland. The report evaluates over 120 markets on digital infrastructure and AI skills, combining indicators such as ICT ranking, internet penetration, and STEM graduate ratios. Singapore scored an impressive 97.7 in ICT, with 36.3% of recent grads in STEM fields and an AI Preparedness Index of 0.8. Germany and Finland follow, showcasing strong internet usage and educational pathways in technology. Notably, Finland boasted the highest ICT score at 98.7, while Estonia and Austria showcased significant digital advancements. The findings emphasize that younger generations in tech-savvy nations are not just knowledgeable but fluent in navigating AI tools, enhancing family safety and technological adoption. As AI integration deepens in consumer services and workplaces, established digital foundations will play a vital role in shaping young people’s adoption of these innovations.
