SK hynix will provide High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), enhancing the global AI infrastructure, with a production capacity exceeding current industry levels. This collaboration will bolster OpenAI’s GPU procurement strategy while expanding their alliance in AI hardware. Additionally, SK Telecom’s MOU focuses on building next-gen computing solutions and exploring AI service applications for businesses and consumers. This government-backed initiative aims to strengthen the South Korea-U.S. AI economic alliance, leveraging SK’s manufacturing and telecommunications strength alongside U.S. AI technology leadership.
