Snowflake has announced its plan to acquire Observe, aiming to enhance artificial intelligence-powered observability tailored for AI-driven enterprises. The definitive agreement, pending customary closing conditions, will integrate Observe’s observability platform with Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud. This integration promises to resolve production issues up to ten times faster than traditional reactive monitoring. The joint solution will empower businesses with agentic AI for swift troubleshooting and an open-standard architecture that scales efficiently while retaining full telemetry data economically.
Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy emphasized that as enterprises increasingly rely on complex AI applications, the demand for reliability becomes a critical business necessity. Observe CEO Jeremy Burton noted that their partnership will significantly accelerate observability solutions at an enterprise level, enhancing reliability and economic performance. This strategic move follows Snowflake’s earlier acquisition of Crunchy Data, aimed at enriching its AI offerings and improving operational efficiency for PostgreSQL users.
