SoundHound AI (SOUN) is enhancing its in-car voice commerce platform by launching a new AI parking agent in collaboration with Parkopedia, a leading connected car services provider. This innovative service integrates Parkopedia’s extensive global parking database, which encompasses over 90 million spaces across more than 20,000 cities. The AI agent simplifies the parking experience for drivers by locating available spaces, comparing real-time prices, and facilitating seamless payments through voice commands. If parking is unavailable, the agent suggests nearby alternatives and promotional offers. COO Michael Zagorsek emphasizes that this development aligns with SoundHound’s goal to make in-car tasks more intelligent and convenient. The partnership aims to reduce friction in parking, enhancing both convenience and safety on the road. SoundHound is also expanding into diverse sectors, with Wall Street analysts recognizing its potential for growth amid numerous strategic acquisitions. The AI parking agent will be showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
