Jesse Thomas, the general manager of strategy and innovation, noted that AI applications span across various corporate and technical functions, particularly benefiting maintenance teams with tools like the Fleet Operating Experience (OE) agent, Safety Advisor Copilot, and Organizational Effectiveness & Performance Improvement (OR/PI) agent.
The OE agent enhances access to operational data, improving maintenance efficiency and responsiveness. The Safety Advisor Copilot ensures quick access to safety protocols, strengthening workplace safety culture. Meanwhile, the OR/PI agent fosters the development of effective improvement plans. With over 850 active users and a focus on collaboration through its AI Working Group, Southern Nuclear is setting a benchmark for innovation in the energy sector, paving the way for a more efficient and reliable future.
