States like Alaska, Tennessee, and Texas are exploring various agentic AI solutions to enhance efficiency in operations and better serve their communities. NASCIO emphasizes that given current workforce shortages, especially due to Boomers retiring, agentic AI can significantly help in managing workloads and delivering services more efficiently. The federal government is similarly accelerating its AI adoption, with a notable increase in reported use cases across agencies.
