This move aims to enhance Suno’s editing capabilities for songwriters and producers. WavTool offers various musician tools like stem separation and AI audio generation, which will be integrated into Suno’s new editing interface. Although terms of the deal remain undisclosed, a majority of WavTool’s employees have joined Suno’s teams. This acquisition announcement coincides with ongoing lawsuits from country musician Tony Justice and major labels like Universal and Warner Music, alleging copyright infringement related to Suno’s AI music generator.
