The focus is on tools for training assistance, health management, and tactical optimization, all to be implemented before the Jiangsu Football City League ends this year. This grassroots tournament has sparked local interest in community football, featuring 85 matches among teams from 13 cities and projected to generate over CNY300 million (USD41.8 million) in economic value. Recent advancements in AI and computer vision are enabling the adoption of motion recognition systems for training and competitions. Innovations like Google DeepMind’s TacticAI and Lenovo’s partnership with the Chinese Professional Football League highlight the momentum in AI applications in sports. These technologies help coaches analyze athlete performance and predict injury risks by collecting and analyzing extensive biomechanical data, paving the way for investment opportunities within the sports sector.
