Tencent has officially launched its AI Agent Development Platform 3.0 at the 2025 Global Digital Ecosystem Summit, enhancing international access to its scenario-based AI capabilities via Tencent Cloud. This platform empowers enterprises to boost efficiency and foster global growth across various sectors. Dowson Tong, Tencent’s Senior Executive Vice President, emphasized that practical AI applications are essential for achieving sustainable business expansion. The new platform includes intelligent agent applications and “SaaS + AI” solutions designed to refine workflows in customer service, marketing, and inventory management. Notably, Tencent’s Hunyuan large models have steadily gained traction, particularly in the gaming and media industries, with over 2.6 million downloads of its 3D models on Hugging Face. Tencent Cloud has also seen a significant rise in its overseas client base, doubling since last year, and outlined plans for extensive infrastructure and technology upgrades to further support international enterprises.
