The guild is worried about creative integrity, data usage, and the protection of user likenesses, particularly of children. Notably, Disney’s announcement specified that the agreement excludes talent likenesses or voices, leaving animators vulnerable. TAG demands transparency and accountability from both Disney and OpenAI about how creative work will be utilized, how artist rights will be safeguarded, and addressing safety risks.
