Gemini’s feature aims to enhance user experience by retrieving specific details from personal data sources to answer queries more accurately. Though convenient, users must manually enable this function, promoting a sense of control over their data. Google claims that personal information is not directly used for training but rather for improving model functionality through anonymized interactions. With built-in privacy measures, the initiative aims to provide tailored assistance while maintaining user security. However, users are cautioned against sharing confidential information, ensuring that Gemini’s responses should not be relied upon for professional advice.
