KUALA LUMPUR: Smooth traffic has been reported on major highways across Malaysia this morning in anticipation of the Aidiladha celebrations tomorrow. A spokesperson from the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) noted that while traffic is currently flowing well towards the east coast and southward from the capital, congestion is expected to begin around noon. Increased vehicle numbers have already caused heavy traffic on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) from Bidor to Tapah. For real-time traffic updates, the public can contact PLUSLine at 1-800-88-0000, follow @plustrafik on X, or reach LLM at 1-800-88-7752 and @llmtrafik on X. Additionally, Pasir Puteh police chief Supt Zaizul Rizal Zakaria indicated that traffic at the two entry points along the Pasir Puteh, Kelantan-Terengganu border was also flowing smoothly as of 9 am.
