Transforming Higher Education: Insights from the AI in Higher Education Summit on AI Tools and University Readiness

The AI in Higher Education Summit, held in Paris on March 17-18, 2026, gathered 183 participants from 67 universities across 27 countries, addressing how higher education must adapt to an AI-driven landscape. An Executive Report synthesizes insights from over 40 sessions and keynotes, highlighting that 44% of faculty believe students know more about AI than they do, while 58% of employers feel universities are insufficiently preparing graduates for an AI-enabled workforce.
