Inspired by a Reddit thread, I transformed my book highlights into a personalized workbook using ChatGPT. Begin with a self-help book that resonated with you, like “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. Summarize each chapter in bullet points, focusing on key lessons. Use digital tools like Kindle or Readwise for easy highlighting.

Next, extract actionable insights with prompts such as, “Summarize my highlights into 3 takeaways.” Organize exercises by type, including reflection prompts, mini-projects, habit trackers, and even decision trees. Each chapter should feature one insight paired with a corresponding exercise to track progress.

Finally, compile your workbook in a Google Doc. This method turns theoretical knowledge into practical action, ensuring a more effective and memorable self-help experience. Start with one chapter and build a toolkit you can actually use!
