ElevenLabs has launched a mobile app for Android and iOS, enabling users to easily convert text to speech. Catering to content creators, marketers, and AI enthusiasts, the app streamlines access to ElevenLabs’ voice technology, previously available only through a web browser. Users can type or paste their text, select a voice, and generate audio clips, with free users granted around 10 minutes of audio. The app features the new v3 alpha voice model, allowing users to control vocal expressions through tags. Jack McDermott, ElevenLabs’ mobile growth lead, noted the surge in community creativity and the demand for a native app experience that integrates seamlessly with platforms like CapCut and Instagram. Future enhancements will include speech-to-text and a conversational AI tool.
