Apple’s Visual Intelligence now extends its capabilities to screenshots, enhancing the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, and newer models. Users can now analyze any screenshot using AI, enabling functions like translating text, dialing phone numbers, identifying plants or landmarks, and retrieving business information—all directly from the screenshot interface. A full-screen preview appears after capturing a screenshot, featuring options to ask ChatGPT for context, summarize text, and access Maps or Calendar conveniently. Additionally, users can perform reverse image searches on specific sections of the screenshot. If you prefer the classic thumbnail workflow, you can easily disable full-screen previews through Settings > General > Screen Capture. Despite turning off this feature, editing options remain accessible by tapping the thumbnail. Other enhancements include HDR screenshots for richer colors and CarPlay screenshot functionality. The integration of Visual Lookup on newer models further enriches object recognition and AI insights.
