Unveiling the Truth Behind Hiring Trends at Meta Superintelligence Labs

In June, Mark Zuckerberg launched a new Meta AI lab, fueled by a $14.3 billion acquisition of Scale AI and significant hiring of top researchers. This initiative, now rebranded as Meta Superintelligence Labs, aims to achieve superintelligence through teams such as the “TBD Lab.” Despite recruitment success, retaining talent remains a challenge; only one staffer has left the TBD Lab since its formation, while others had not officially started. CEO Alexandr Wang reassured that investments in Superintelligence are ongoing, despite reports of setbacks, and emphasized the lab’s strategic direction toward research, product development, and infrastructure enhancements.
