Renowned journalist Mark Gurman from Bloomberg reports that this upgrade will allow Siri to execute precise in-app actions across Apple and third-party applications like YouTube, WhatsApp, and Instagram through simple voice commands. Enhanced by an innovative App Intents system, users will be able to navigate apps, comment on posts, or add items to their cart without ever needing to touch the screen. Currently in testing, Siri’s capabilities may initially have restrictions on sensitive tasks within banking or health apps to mitigate potential errors. The anticipated launch, expected in Spring 2026 with iOS 26.4, iPadOS 26.4, macOS 26.4, and visionOS 26.4, will feature a staggered international rollout, similar to previous Apple Intelligence updates.
