The US Department of the Air Force (DAF) is enhancing its business processes through Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, accelerating its digital transformation with a focus on finance, human resources, and supply chain management. This AI-driven suite supports the DAF in reallocating resources to improve Air Force readiness and aid airmen, aligning with the Department of War’s software modernization strategy. The initiative is endorsed by an Authorisation to Operate (ATO) from Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) at Impact Level 4 (IL-4), ensuring operational security. A Boundary Cloud Access Point (BCAP) has been established, enabling secure access to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for sensitive data. Oracle Fusion’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Performance Management (EPM) tools aim to boost productivity and refine decision-making. Meanwhile, Oracle’s Human Capital Management (HCM) enhances workforce insights. This comprehensive upgrade empowers airmen while ensuring compliance and continuous innovation, with updates every 90 days.
