The initiative will also grant access to cutting-edge generative AI models to Combatant Commands and key defense offices. Established in 2022, the CDAO aims to accelerate the integration of data, analytics, and AI from leadership to combat scenarios. Notably, xAI’s funding coincides with the rollout of Grok for federal use, despite recent controversies surrounding the platform.
