Visa has launched six enhanced dispute resolution tools to address rising case volumes and outdated manual processes in the payments ecosystem. With a staggering 106 million disputes processed globally in 2025—a 35% increase since 2019—Visa’s new tools aim to minimize administrative costs and mitigate fraud-related losses. Andrew Torre, President of Value-Added Services, emphasized that efficient dispute management is crucial for merchants and financial institutions to better serve customers and drive growth. Key offerings include the Visa Dispute Resolution Network for early dispute handling, Visa Dispute Recovery Manager powered by Gen AI, and updates to Order Insight for transaction clarity. Starting April 2026, merchants can utilize Compelling Evidence 3.0 to present evidence in suspicious cases, reducing friendly fraud. For issuers and acquirers, Visa’s AI-driven dispute tools like Dispute Intelligence and Dispute Doc Analyzer enhance case reviews and streamline response processes. A centralized Visa Dispute Case Manager is also set for launch in 2026. Subscribe to our free newsletter for the latest Fintech Singapore news!
