Volvo’s EX60 Set to Debut with Google Gemini AI Integration

Volvo is set to unveil its all-electric EX60 medium SUV on January 21, featuring Google’s Gemini AI assistant for enhanced driving interaction. Unlike traditional infotainment systems, the EX60 allows for natural conversation and hands-free, multi-turn requests, making it the first Volvo with Gemini integrated. Chief Engineering and Technology Officer, Anders Bell, describes it as Volvo’s most intelligent vehicle yet, supported by the new HuginCore system. This foundation combines advanced hardware and software, enabling over-the-air updates and continuous improvement. The EX60 offers an impressive computing capacity, boasting the Qualcomm Snapdragon and NVIDIA Drive platforms for enhanced infotainment and advanced driver assistance systems. With a range of up to 810 km on a single charge and the capability to add up to 340 km in just 10 minutes via a 400kW fast charger, the EX60 is poised to redefine electric SUV standards. The reveal will be livestreamed on January 21, 2026.
