The Women’s Academy for Leadership and Political Excellence (WALPE) is accepting applications for a new online capacity-building program aimed at young women. This initiative empowers participants with essential knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and strategies to prevent Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV). As digital platforms become vital for activism and leadership, this program equips women with tools to navigate online spaces confidently and responsibly.
Key learning areas include the fundamentals of AI, digital safety strategies, understanding TFGBV, and using technology for activism. Young women who are emerging leaders or activists are encouraged to apply, regardless of their technical backgrounds. Participants will gain practical digital safety skills, enhance their understanding of AI in leadership, and connect with a network of influential women.
