However, the emergence of lawsuits against AI companies like Perplexity highlights concerns regarding unauthorized scraping of copyrighted content for model training. While strategies to offer free subscriptions attract users, they raise questions on transparency and data protection. India’s lack of specific AI regulations further complicates safeguarding user data and ensuring ethical AI deployment.
