Arizona State University (ASU) is collaborating with tech innovator will.i.am to innovate educational models for the digital economy. Announced in New York City, this partnership introduces a new ASU course titled “The Agentic Self,” designed by will.i.am, who will serve as a professor in The GAME School. This course, launching in Spring 2026, aims to equip students with foundational AI skills applicable across disciplines. Students will learn to create an AI universal learning companion, blending creativity and ethical understanding. Additionally, ASU is pioneering new capabilities through will.i.am’s FYI.AI platform, enhancing AI learning experiences for students and faculty. This collaboration aligns with ASU’s commitment to fostering digital fluency and ethical AI practices. ASU is also joining the AI Skills Coalition, emphasizing democratized AI education. With the expansion of its Master’s in Artificial Intelligence in Business to Los Angeles in fall 2026, ASU continues to redefine education in the AI era.
