These innovations aim to enhance digital well-being, foster creativity, and provide credible information to Indian users. Highlighted alongside new economic impact data, a report notes YouTube’s contribution of over Rs 16,000 crores to India’s GDP and the support of over 930,000 jobs.
The new AI features include educational webinars and workshops for students in creative fields, along with online nursing courses facilitated by AIIMS. A conversational AI feature allows users to ask questions directly during videos, with multilingual support expected. YouTube also emphasizes health information access by featuring first aid videos prominently. For creators, tools like AI-driven editing assistance and copyright protection measures will enhance content creation while ensuring their rights are upheld. These initiatives mark a significant advancement in YouTube’s commitment to its Indian user base.
