YouTube has unveiled new AI-powered tools during its Made On YouTube event, aiming to ease creators’ workloads. The highlight is Ask Studio, an AI “creative partner” that offers personalized insights on video performance and viewer comments. YouTube aims for this tool to be the go-to resource for creators, providing actionable strategies based on their channels. Amid a surge in AI integration across social media, YouTube faces scrutiny from creators previously concerned about AI modifying content without consent. To address this, actionable features like video ideation, automatic dubbing enhancements, and deepfake detection are being introduced. With new lip-sync technology, creators can localize content in 20 languages seamlessly. Further, AI highlights will automatically clip engaging moments from live streams into Shorts. YouTube is also experimenting with tools like Google’s Veo 3 for generating Shorts from text prompts and an AI video editor for raw footage. These innovations signal YouTube’s commitment to enhancing the creator experience.
