Zoho, the Chennai-based technology powerhouse, recently launched a suite of AI platforms, prominently featuring the proprietary Zia LLM. This AI-driven large language model boasts automatic speech recognition for English and Hindi, developed entirely in-house with NVIDIA’s AI-accelerated platform. The new offerings include Zia Agent Studio, a no-code/low-code builder equipped with over 700 actions and 25 prebuilt AI agents optimized for Indian clients. Additionally, Zoho introduced a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to ensure secure access for third-party agents, enhancing interoperability and governance. These innovations align with Zoho’s commitment to privacy-driven, contextual intelligence and operational efficiency. CEO Mani Vembu emphasized the model’s focus on business applications, ensuring lower inference costs while maximizing productivity and effectiveness. By implementing a “human in the loop” approach, Zoho allows easier verification and modification of AI outputs, significantly streamlining user engagement. With a 32% growth in India, Zoho solidifies its position in the AI landscape.
