High-Tech Tamil Nadu Gang Utilizes AI Tools to Steal 25 Lakh in Gadgets Before Arrest in Indore

In Indore, police have dismantled a significant gang responsible for numerous thefts in student hostels, recovering goods valued at ₹25 lakhs. Upon extensive investigations, it was discovered that the gang utilized Google Maps for reconnaissance of hostel locations and Google Gemini for language comprehension. The trio, residing in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, would daily travel from Mhow to Indore, execute thefts in various hostels, and return by evening. After a series of complaints, the police apprehended the gang during a routine check, leading to further arrests based on information from the first suspect. A total of 18 mobile phones, 10 laptops, and one tablet were seized. The accused planned to sell the stolen goods in Tamil Nadu. With two FIRs registered at Bhanwarkuan police station and additional cases in Vijay Nagar and Banganga, the investigation continues to uncover the gang’s broader network and previous crimes in the city.
