Adobe’s New Beta Technology Aims to Transform Video Editing into a Photo Editing Experience: A Game-Changer for Hybrid Shooters

Adobe wants to make video editing more like photo editing. This new beta tech looks like a game-changer for hybrid shooters

At Adobe Max 2023, Adobe showcased two innovative video editing tools: Project Frame Forward and Project Clean Take. Project Frame Forward revolutionizes video editing by allowing editors to alter the first frame of a video in Photoshop. AI then applies these changes seamlessly across the entire clip without traditional masking techniques, enhancing efficiency. Demonstrations included removing objects and correcting overexposure while adding dynamic elements like sunsets.

On the audio front, Project Clean Take employs AI to isolate and regenerate sound from different audio sources, making audio editing in noisy environments straightforward. This tool enables users to modify transcripts, change voice inflection, and even remove unwanted background music, with the added capability to find new tracks via Adobe Stock.

While still in development, these Sneaks highlight Adobe’s commitment to enhancing creative workflows in video and audio editing, potentially shaping future software updates.
