Huffman noted that for two decades, Reddit has battled against spam aimed at gaining popularity, and this dilemma is exacerbated as companies seek to enhance their presence in AI outputs. To combat this, Reddit is exploring new methods, including advanced verification technologies. The growing concerns among users about the sale of their posts for AI training are likely to amplify discontent regarding the bot problem Reddit has inadvertently created.
