Alibaba Group Holding has launched a new artificial intelligence tool, “AI Mode,” on its global B2B marketplace, Alibaba.com, which serves over 200,000 merchants. This innovative feature enhances cross-border trade by streamlining the search process for global users, making it easier to find products quickly and reliably. According to Zhang Kuo, president of Alibaba.com, AI Mode utilizes natural language queries to deliver tailored results and recommendations. The tool efficiently compares suppliers based on key metrics like price and production capabilities in mere minutes, transforming a traditionally tedious process that could take days or weeks. This launch coincided with the inaugural CoCreate Europe trade fair in London, aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
