Amigos For Kids, a Miami-based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families, has been awarded the OpenAI Ready Award as it approaches its 35th anniversary. This recognition is part of the People-First AI Fund, which allocates $50 million nationwide to support nonprofits focusing on community-centered solutions. As one of 208 selected organizations, Amigos For Kids will use the funding to enhance its afterschool and summer programs while integrating AI technologies to personalize learning and improve family engagement. President Karina Pavone emphasized that this investment will boost the organization’s ability to deliver services efficiently and equitably.
