An Israeli Home Front Command reservist, Moti Malka, has created Yuvi LAB, an innovative AI platform tailored for children, aimed at transforming screen time into productive learning. Developed alongside his 10-year-old son during breaks from reserve duty amid ongoing conflict, Yuvi LAB allows users aged six and up to create games, apps, and educational content through a user-friendly, natural-language AI interface. This free, web-based tool emphasizes accessibility, safety, and simplicity, enabling children to share their work and engage with creations from peers. Malka’s initiative aligns with Israel’s efforts to incorporate AI into education, offering personalized learning experiences through a multi-agent AI system that adapts to various learning styles and levels. Notably, Yuvi LAB prioritizes user privacy and security, not storing personal data. Within its first two weeks, the platform attracted over 800 active users and produced more than 1,000 projects, showcasing its potential to foster creativity and collaboration among young learners.
