Anthropic is generating significant buzz after receiving unsolicited investment offers from venture capital firms, potentially valuing the company at up to $800 billion. The surge in Anthropic’s valuation, now at $688 billion on Caplight, is largely attributed to its AI model, Claude, with annualized revenue soaring to over $30 billion, up from $9 billion in 2025. Recently, Anthropic launched its advanced AI model, Mythos, designed for complex programming tasks, although its release has been limited due to concerns about cybersecurity and misuse. Additionally, the company is exploring in-house chip development to enhance its technological capabilities. Analysts point out the differing focuses between Anthropic and Palantir, highlighting the unique position Anthropic holds in the evolving AI landscape.
