Apple is set to unveil an enhanced Siri, powered by Google Gemini, potentially in “the second half of February,” according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. This announcement will showcase Siri’s advanced capabilities, reflecting Apple’s recent partnership with Google. The updated Siri aims to resemble an AI chatbot, similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT, following its initial reveal at WWDC 2024. The new Siri will debut with iOS 26.4, entering beta testing in February, with a public release anticipated in March or early April. A detailed demonstration is scheduled for late February, leading up to a grand reveal during Apple’s annual developer conference in summer. Additionally, the Siri upgrade, codenamed Campos, along with the Gemini-powered features, is expected to be integrated into iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27, with beta versions available in the summer. This transition positions Siri at the forefront of AI technology in the competitive landscape.
