Streamlining AI Agent Management: A Call for Solutions

Managing multiple local coding agents like Claude Code, Codex CLI, and OpenCode can be overwhelming. As these agents execute various sub-tasks, the complexity and clutter of terminal logs can hinder productivity—creating a desperate need for a unified tracking system.

Here’s what I’m exploring:

  • Centralized ‘Mission Control’: Utilizing GitHub Issues for tracking agent states.
    • Session Management: Automatically creates/updates issues with session info.
    • Continuous Interaction: Stay connected through comments and updates.

However, traditional platforms like GitHub and Jira aren’t optimized for high-frequency AI operations. The UX is sluggish and lacks real-time session insights.

I’m reaching out to the community:

  • Is anyone building tailored solutions for managing agents?
  • Have you come across a purpose-built “Control Plane” for this challenge?
