Citi is expanding its generative AI tools to enhance employee productivity across key Asian markets, following the successful launch of its ‘Citi AI’ suite in December 2024. These innovations aim to empower workers in various functions through several tools, including Citi Assist, which helps retrieve vital information; Citi Stylus, that simplifies document management; and Citi Stylus Workspaces, designed for drafting emails and Q&A documents. Additionally, in-house developers are equipped with specialized GenAI tools to accelerate coding and innovation. Hanh Do, head of Citi Vietnam’s Public Affairs, emphasized the positive early reception of these tools, which streamline operations and improve internal workflows. This strategic investment signifies Citi’s commitment to leveraging advanced technology for continuous improvement and maintaining a competitive edge. Furthermore, Citi’s recent accolades, including CEO Jane Fraser being named ‘Banker of The Year’ at the Euromoney Awards, underline its ongoing success and optimism in markets like Vietnam, predicting 7% GDP growth in 2025.
