As the second-largest user base globally, India drives nearly half of Claude.ai’s usage in technical domains, including application development and system modernization. The Bengaluru facility, headed by Managing Director Irina Ghose, aims to hire local talent and enhance AI capabilities in regional languages, which includes training data for Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, and more. To improve AI performance, Anthropic collaborates with organizations like Karya and Digital Green across sectors such as agriculture and education. Major companies, like Air India and Cognizant, are integrating Claude into their operations, highlighting the growing demand for AI solutions. Anthropic’s initiatives also focus on social impact, partnering with nonprofits to broaden AI access in education, underlining a mission to promote responsible AI adoption tailored to India’s unique needs.
