CoinFello has launched an open-source OpenClaw skill in partnership with MetaMask, enabling its AI agents, Moltbots, to securely perform on-chain transactions using delegated smart wallet permissions. Built on ERC-4337 smart accounts and ERC-7710 delegations, this system allows users to retain control over private keys while granting limited permissions to AI agents. CoinFello’s solution converts natural-language requests into delegated transactions, enhancing security by mitigating the exposure of sensitive information. CTO Brett Cleary emphasizes the need for robust security as AI agents integrate into the on-chain economy. The OpenClaw ecosystem is seeing rapid growth, boasting over 150,000 GitHub stars and 416,000 npm downloads recently. Through natural-language prompts, Moltbots can conduct ERC-20 swaps, cross-chain bridging, and other complex transactions. The CoinFello skill adheres to the Agent Skills specification and is available under the MIT license, aiming for further enhancements with MetaMask integration and expanded permission frameworks.
