Powered by the Veo 3 AI model, this tool aims to streamline the creative process, making AI video generation more accessible. Available on computers, Android, and iOS devices, access requires a Google AI Pro or Google AI Ultra subscription for personal accounts, while work or school accounts need a qualifying Workspace license.
Users are limited in the number of videos they can generate, with higher allowances for Google AI Ultra subscribers. Importantly, Google enforces policies against content violations, ensuring responsible usage. To create videos, users can visit gemini.google.com on desktops, or use the Gemini Apps on mobile devices, entering prompts or uploading images. Generated videos last about 8 seconds and take 1-2 minutes to produce. Notably, the feature is currently unavailable in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the UK.
