The Delaware Artificial Intelligence Commission aims to create a framework for innovation in sectors like corporate governance, leveraging the state’s business-friendly reputation. Chaired by Rep. Krista Griffith, the commission highlights agentic AI’s potential for decision-making in the corporate realm, although some limitations apply, like starting a limited liability company (LLC). Delaware’s Secretary of State, Charuni Patibanda-Sanchez, advocates for exploring AI’s efficiencies in business integration.
This initiative follows a joint legislative resolution directing collaboration between the commission and the secretary’s office. As interest in AI regulation grows nationally, with states like Colorado and California taking steps, Delaware positions itself at the forefront.
