However, recent findings indicate a decline, with only three detectors maintaining perfect accuracy as many tools introduced stricter usage limitations. Notably, while dedicated AI content detectors like Copyleaks and Grammarly struggle with inconsistent results, AI chatbots are emerging as capable alternatives, often outperforming these detectors. A series of tests compared multiple detectors and chatbots, revealing that some, like Pangram and ZeroGPT, achieved 100% accuracy, whereas others, like Undetectable.ai and Writer.com, significantly faltered. Despite advancements, caution is advised when relying solely on these tools, as inaccuracies can lead to misclassification of human-generated content, compromising academic integrity and originality.
