This improved proposal call, revised from 2023, offers attractive conditions for research focus, co-funding, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The deadline for submissions is October 13, 2026, with a total budget of €7 million, allowing consortia to apply for funding ranging from €600,000 to €1,840,000. NWO will cover up to 80% of the total project cost, requiring a 20% co-funding contribution. A matchmaking meeting is scheduled for April 2, 2026, to facilitate consortium formation among researchers, companies, and organizations. NWO’s innovation programs aim to tackle societal challenges, driving economic opportunities through collaborations between knowledge institutions, the government, and private sector entities.
